There are lots of LCD panels out there, which didn't make it into this review. Still, we feel that we have covered quite a bit of the market. We hope you've appreciated the reading, and that this review could be of assist in your search for the perfect LCD panel.
In this review we have seen three manufactures
who stood out from the rest, namely Eizo, NEC and Samsung.
As the definitive winner of the test we have chosen Samsung
173T. This is a panel which we think is superior to all the
others in this test, when all kinds of usage areas are taken
into account.
At a very solid 2nd place we find NEC 1760 NX. This is probably the best choice for people finding themselves playing lots of games. This panel is highly recommended, just like the Samsung 173T.
We have given the last "medal" to Eizo L557. This panel has some of the sharpest and best image we have seen. Though, you need to be aware of that this panel is not suited for fast games.
Finally, we decided not to give out any "best value" award. It really all comes down to what your needs are. No matter what LCD panel you choose, the important thing is that you are satisifed. There are no better judge that your own eyes.
In a short time we'll be back with part two of "the big LCD panel review", focusing on 18" and larger panels. In the meantime, those of you who understand norwegian can join our forums.
